A big part of the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival has always been demonstrations of some of the old-time crafts and activities that remind us of our heritage and hearken back to a simpler time. This year is no exception! Visit the booths around the festival grounds to see the following. (This list is tentative and subject to change.)
The following will be located in the Pioneer Village area of the festival grounds, in the grassy area on the courthouse lawn:
Sunlight Harvest alpacas, showcasing alpaca products as well as honey and beeswax candles. Weather permitting, they will have a beehive on display!

Old Time Photo Booth hosted by The Winterset Stage, a great opportunity to dress up in old fashioned garb and have your photo taken with friends and family.
The following will be located on Court Ave. near Forget Me Not Floral & Gifts & the Winterset Fire Station:
Corn Box children’s play activity, hosted by Freedom for Youth Ministries
Master Gardeners at George Washington Carver Park, next to the Fire Station. Please visit our demonstration of cotton, peanuts and hear the stories about this great humanitarian who lived in Winterset before attaining his education and becoming one of the most revered botanists until Norman Borlaug!
