This year’s festival theme is Dream Big Dreams, celebrating the life and legacy of George Washington Carver. Come to Carver Park on East Court by the Fire Station to celebrate the story of George Washington Carver’s time in Winterset, his love of art and nature, and his dream of an education! Examine the “Dream Big Dreams” mural created by children, meet a National Park Ranger, and help save the butterflies! Pick cotton, make peanut butter, and learn how peanuts grow with the Master Gardeners! Visit the “Creation Station” sponsored by ISU Extension and Plant Grow Fly of Blank Park Zoo to enjoy storytelling, botanical art, rock painting, face painting, and more!
